Education Co-ordinator (Part-Time)

Fixed Term to 31 March 2017, 24 hours per week

Salary: £17,547 per annum (pro-rata)

Woodhorn is Northumberland’s largest museum and home to the Northumberland Archives which hold over 800 years of the county’s history, and is managed by Woodhorn Charitable Trust. Uniquely situated amongst listed colliery buildings, and cutting edge 21st century architecture, we are currently looking for an outstanding person to join our small, busy, Education team as an Education Co-ordinator on a fixed-term basis.

The Education Co-ordinator will deliver heritage and arts based education workshops and activities to schools, and develop family learning activities for general visitors to Woodhorn, co-ordinating delivery requirements including staff and resources.

The successful applicant will have experience of working with children in a museum/heritage environment.
