Dementia Support Service Norfolk and Waveney
For one-to-one dementia support in Norfolk and Waveney please call our local helpline on 01603 763556 or email norfolk@alzheimers.org.uk.
The helpline is staffed 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), with an answerphone outside these times. It is there for anyone affected by dementia and you will be in contact with an experienced Dementia Adviser.
The service has Dementia Advisers and Admiral Nurses working together so that where ongoing support is needed, everyone gets the support they need at the time they need it.
Support includes information and practical guidance to help people understand the condition, cope with day-to-day challenges, and prepare for the future. Advice, support, and information can be provided by phone, in writing, virtually or in person.
Alzheimer’s Society National Helpline is on 03331503456 and available 9am – 8pm Monday to Wednesday, 9am – 5pm Thursday and Friday, 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
The Dementia Support Forum is an online forum for everyone who is affected by dementia, open 24 hours a day.
