New Routes Integration support and empower refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Norwich, and promote cross-cultural integration and community awareness.

Weekly Women's International Friendship Group: provides language support; information about local services, learning and social opportunities.

=> Women's Dance Exercise Class 2 x weekly,

Adult Art, Craft & Conversation sessions 2 x weekly,

International Workshop 2 x weekly: supports integration; reduces isolation; provides language support; signposts to learning, training and work experience.

New Routes Youth Mentoring Project (NCVO accredited Approved Provider): partners young refugees with trained youth mentors to act as guide and role model; supports educational achievement and integration.

Adult Mentoring & Befriending Project (NCVO accredited Approved Provider): partners recently resettled individuals with trained volunteers to promote wider circles of knowledge and acquaintance and to support individual journeys to meaningful employment/training/education.

Homework Support Club: 2 x weekly BME schoolchildren,

International Families Club: facilitates cross-culture friendship and understanding; through exploration of international arts in a safe and welcoming environment. Saturdays & mid-week during school holidays, 52 weeks per year

Weekly Youth MMA mixed martial arts/self-defence club: promotes self-discipline and self-control; increases confidence and fitness; attracts “hard to reach” young people; offers mentoring support and guidance.

Weekly Youth Music Club.

We run activities from our centre, in the asylum hotels, and in the community (such as coordinating Refugee Week Norwich).  This includes twice weekly ESOL classes, womens, mens, girls and families groups and activities.  Everything from MMA and football, our allotment, to regular trips and residential activities, to Craft & Conversation.

We also run a Free Shop, supplying our participants with clothing/ footwear, toys/books/games, and homeware. Please ask for details. We also oversee the Norwich Facebook group for the Norwich Refugee Week.

New Communities Awareness Training offered to local organisations.
