Norfolk and Suffolk Victim Care

We work with adults and children (4-18) and cover the whole of Norfolk and Suffolk.

Being a victim of, or witness to a crime brings up a huge range of emotions. However a person is feeling we are here to listen and help. We provide a safe space for people to talk through their thoughts and feelings and to ask questions and offer emotional and practical support to help people make sense of what has happened and to recover from the effects of crime.

We put individual safety and support plans in place for people and can provide personal alarms.

We can assist with writing Victim Impact Statements and advocating with other agencies such as the Police or Witness Care Team.

We ensure that people understand their rights as a victim and can help them navigate their way around the criminal justice system.

We also co-ordinate the Scams Prevention Service in partnership with the Norfolk Police, Trading Standards and the Police and Crime Commissioner
