Creative Arts East

Who We Are

Creative Arts East is an arts and community development charity committed to bringing the very best arts and cultural activities to rural audiences across Norfolk, Suffolk and the wider eastern region.

We aim to use the transformative power of the arts to fight rural and social isolation; increase enjoyment, skills, health, and wellbeing; and make a positive difference to the lives of people living in rural communities.

What We Offer

Our ‘Arts for Health’ programme provides high quality arts workshops and live events across Norfolk.

Sessions are open to anybody aged 50+ who might be experiencing loneliness and isolation, who might benefit from improved social connections. All events are dementia inclusive, and we welcome people for are caring for someone to attend as well.

All sessions and events are free, with voluntary donations being welcomed. Refreshments of tea and cake being provided also.

Creative Socials

Creatives Socials are monthly workshops which run in six locations across Norfolk. They provide a warm, safe, social space for audiences. They feature a dynamic range of creative activities: from music making, arts and crafts, contemporary movement, and Caribbean dance, to name but a few!

Creative Socials run in six locations each month across Norfolk:

  • In Breckland: Attleborough, Thetford and Dereham
