Brain injury can affect anyone. We support people who have been affected by an acquired brain injury including strokes, trauma, aneurysms, encephalitis, and brain tumours. We provide information, education and support to families, carers and individuals with an aim to gain confidence and overcome challenges. We promote independence and rehabilitation, providing support services directly to those in need.
We support adults over 18 who have sustained an acquired brain injury after birth. Conditions include: trauma from road traffic collisions and assaults, illness such as encephalitis and viruses, tumours or surgery and strokes.
We don’t support people with a progressive Neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s or MND.
